Please read before purchasing your goods.

The Ink and Toner Shop reserve the right to amend its policy periodically. You need to check this page regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made. This policy is effective from 7th JUNE 2010.

1. Definitions

a) The Ink and Toner Shop; we or us.
b) 'Customer' denotes any person or company who intends to purchase or has purchased from The Ink and Toner Shop.
c) 'Consumer' denotes an individual who is not acting for the purposes of a business or profession and whose order, when placed, has no connection with a Company name in any manner.
d) 'Business Customer' denotes someone who represents a business. Such a person is not regarded as a 'Consumer'.

2. Prices

a) Goods and services provided, together with VAT due, are invoiced at the price prevailing at the time of placing an order.
b) The Ink and Toner Shop reserves the right to modify prices periodically.

3. Orders

a) All orders placed are subject to the availability of goods ordered.
b) The acceptance of cancellation of any orders placed by ‘consumers’ will be in accordance with the seven day ‘right to cancel’ stipulation, set out in the Consumer Protection Regulations of the year 2000 relating to distance selling. This acknowledgement does not impinge upon consumers’ statutory or contractual rights to reject faulty goods.
c) The customer must undertake to provide correct details for the purpose of purchasing goods or services offered on this web site. Any credit or debit card used to make a purchase must belong to the purchaser or their company. They must be authorised to use the card and there must be sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of any goods or services ordered. We reserve the right to obtain validation of credit or debit card details before providing any goods or services.

4. Payment

Unless other terms have been previously agreed between The Ink and Toner Shop and the customer and backed up in writing, our standard terms for business allow customers 14 days to make payment from the date of the invoice. This rule does not apply for online transactions for which credit or debit cards are used. In such cases, the customer's account is debited at the point of sale. This does not affect consumers' statutory rights in any way.

5. Product specifications

a) The Ink and Toner Shop makes every effort to supply the goods as advertised but reserves the right to supply the goods subject to minor variations in actual dimensions and specifications where these are changed by the manufacturer.
b) Price errors occasionally occur in our advertising. The customer will be notified as soon as this is noticed and will be offered a refund if required.
c) Printer compatibility is listed for guidance only. Every effort has been made to ensure the information is correct but as errors can occur we recommend that you check your manufacturer's details before purchasing. For this reason, if you wish to return a cartridge you believe does not fit your printer, then please do not open the package as only unopened cartridges can be returned.

6. Delivery

a) The Ink and Toner Shop offer free deliveries within the U.K. mainland unless otherwise stated. We operate a standard ‘next working day’ delivery service for items that are in stock. We require advanced notification for any special delivery needs for which there may be an additional charge.
b) For deliveries of goods that are out of stock, we shall endeavour to dispatch goods by the due date agreed with the customer but do not accept liability for failure to deliver within the stated time when caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, e.g. delays caused by delivery companies or failure by manufacturers to meet lead times. If a delay is likely, we contact the customer to explain the situation.
c) Should goods not arrive when expected please wait 5 days after the order date before contacting our helpdesk.
d ) If goods are incomplete, damaged or wrong in any way, it is incumbent upon the customer to contact our helpdesk within 5 working days of receipt of the order. In such an event, we do our best to quickly resolve the problem.
e) Distribution is deemed to have taken place once the goods have been delivered to the customer's nominated address whereupon the risks of loss, breakage, damage and all other such risks pass to the customer. It is also the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the number of packages delivered corresponds with the number stated on the delivery note. If a discrepancy occurs, or there is evidence of damage to the packaging, it is up to the customer to record this on the delivery ticket.
f) Full legal ownership of any goods dispatched will not pass to the purchaser until such time as The Ink and Toner Shop receive, in full, payment for all goods delivered. Regarding payment of goods delivered, such payment will include any interest incurred or charges payable under the terms of contract set out between The Ink and Toner Shop and the buyer.
g) If the customer cannot accept delivery, we may, at our discretion, re-arrange delivery to take place at a later date and charge for additional delivery costs incurred, or we may store the goods at the customer's expense for a short period of time. At such times as either of these options are considered by us to be financially unrealistic, we reserve the right to re-sell the goods at the best price obtainable and deduct reasonable charges for storage and re-sale costs incurred before paying to the customer any residue entitlement.

7. Returns Policy

a) At The Ink and Toner Shop, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products and services. Any customer who is not 100% satisfied with their purchase may receive a prompt replacement or refund. Customers are requested to contact us prior to returning goods.
b) Faulty or incorrect goods will be immediately replaced or refunded. We may ask for the goods to be returned in order for us to return them to the manufacturer. This will be at the cost of The Ink and Toner Shop and will be discussed with the customer prior to returning them.
c) If goods are not faulty but the customer wishes to return the goods then, to receive a full refund, purchases must be returned with carriage pre-paid by the customer. All items must be in “as new” condition, in original packaging, along with all accessories if applicable (manuals, discs etc.) and must include the original invoice. Any discrepancies could result in forfeiture of a refund.
d) Refunds on purchases made with a credit card will only be credited to the same card.
e) Customers’ statutory rights remain unaffected.
f) The Ink and Toner Shop will not accept the return or exchange of any item if the serial label has been defaced or removed.

8. Recycling Policy

a) At The Ink and Toner Shop, we are committed to helping our customers to recycle whenever possible.
b) Due to prohibitive postal charges we can only offer money back for cartridges returned to us from the local area or at the customer's own cost.
c) The Ink and Toner Shop reserve the right to change the amount given back on specified cartridges, and to add or withdraw cartridges from the offer.
d) It is the customer's responsibility to ensure empty cartridges are stored safely for collection as The Ink and Toner Shop will not be held responsible for any damaged caused through leakage or spillage whilst awaiting collection.
e) Collections must not exceed 15kg per container and wherever possible be from a ground floor location. Notification must be given and confirmed if other arrangements are required.
f) Should parking difficulties ensue, notification must be given prior to collection.
